The Scientific and Technical Committee for Agricultural Water (COSTEA) places great importance on the protection of your personal data. Data Collected and Purposes

Newsletter subscription: your email address and your consent, to send you the COSTEA newsletter. Legal basis: your consent.
Think tank membership application: the information you provide in the form (last name, first name, institution, position, type of actor, areas of expertise and interest, etc.), to review your application and animate the member community. Legal basis: your consent and COSTEA’s legitimate interest in animating its network.
Browsing: the site does not use audience measurement tools or advertising cookies.

Recipients and Sub-processors

Your data is intended exclusively for COSTEA teams in charge of the newsletter and community management. It is never sold or transferred to third parties.

COSTEA uses the following service providers:

Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) for managing registrations and sending the newsletter;
Google (Google Forms) for the membership application form, and Google reCAPTCHA to protect the newsletter subscription form against automated submissions;
YouTube (Google) for embedding videos on the site.

Some data processed by Google may be transferred outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by the safeguards provided by the GDPR (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses of the European Commission).

Retention Period

Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Each newsletter contains a link to unsubscribe at any time.

The site does not use audience measurement cookies or advertising cookies. Only technical cookies, necessary for the proper functioning of the site, may be placed.

When you use the newsletter subscription form, the Google reCAPTCHA service is loaded and may place cookies to verify that you are not a robot.

Videos embedded on the site are streamed by YouTube in “enhanced privacy” mode (youtube-nocookie.com): no cookies are placed until you start playback. When a video starts, YouTube (Google) may place cookies according to its own privacy policy.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
