Our Training Programs

COSTEA conducts actions, produces knowledge, and is also committed to knowledge transfer.
Over 10 years of experience and expertise to share through the following training programs:

Multi-Barrier Approach
Training

COSTEA offers training on the “multi-barrier” approach to ensure the sanitary safety of wastewater reuse in agriculture. The program includes: practical use of the AMBRE serious game to simulate risk management scenarios, field visits to pilot sites, and adaptation to the specificities of each national context.

Agroecological Re-engineering Training

COSTEA offers participatory workshops to thoroughly rethink collective irrigated perimeters, beyond simple infrastructure renovation. Through the ARIHA serious game, field analysis, and evaluation of the “cost of inaction,” participants co-construct solutions adapted to their territory.

Client-Side Project Management Training

Facing the challenges of restructuring irrigation development and management companies, COSTEA offers practical training in hydro-agricultural project steering. A first session brought together executives from several West African countries in Mauritania, with long-term support extending up to one year after the training.

Agroecology MOOC

COSTEA adapts reference online training systems to the realities of irrigated territories. A first example is the adaptation of the Agroecology MOOC, a reference system led by Institut Agro Montpellier, to the Mediterranean context. This is a way to widely and freely disseminate solid scientific knowledge, contextualized to the field.
